Raymond was born January 26, 1923 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He joined the Marine Corps at 18. After serving in Guadalcanal during WWII, he was honorably discharged in July 1945. He lived in Florida, California and Oregon where he passed away. Ray enjoyed travelling around the States, working on cars, watching hockey, and coaching soccer and baseball. He loved to tease and crack jokes with his North Eastern accent and dry sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rita (Barry); mother, Doria (Rheault); father, Edmund Landry; and his sister, Theresa Landry. He is survived by his second wife, Dixie (Laut); children, Sharyn, Curtis, Doug; stepchildren, Diana, Cindy and Julie; and affectionately know as Pepe’re to his seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
