Robert “Rob” Michael Blackburn, age 55, of Salem, Oregon passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Tuesday November 3rd 2020. Rob was born June 23, 1965 at the US Navy Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina to Richard Blackburn and Jan Willener. Rob spent many years in Florida then moved to Astoria, Oregon in 1997 and most recently lived quietly in Salem, Oregon. Rob spent much of his life involved in various artistic endeavors including party planning, set design, diorama creation, jewelry making, and painting.
He was a caring and generous man who supported those around him mentally, physically and financially. He found beauty in unexpected places.
Rob is preceded in death by his sister Kelly Lynn Kaufman.
