Bob "Buck" Rogers, 72 of Salem, Oregon passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, November 25th at Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Home, 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem, OR 97302.
Memorial donations may be made to Silverton High School Athletics.
Born on January 16, 1942 in Santa Monica, California, Bob graduated from Venice High in 1960. On June 15, 1962 he married the love of his life, Rebecca Smith Rogers. "Buck" as his co-workers knew him, worked as a tool & die maker and as a wind tunnel technician in the aerospace industry for over 25 years.
Bob is survived by his two sons, Lucky Rogers and his wife Kathy of Salem; Michael Rogers and his wife Doreen of Somers, CT; sister, Gail Flannigan of Venice, CA; Five grandchildren, Cody and Rachel-Lyn Rogers, Haley Rogers, Andrew Rogers, Ryan Rogers and many nieces nephews and close family and friends.
With a life long affinity for blonds, he is now with his beautiful Rebecca.
