The family moved to Oregon when Todd was in fourth grade. Todd graduated from North Salem High School in 1986 and was a multi-sport athlete. After working for Bill Beard Sporting Goods store in Salem, Todd got a job as a buyer for the Salem-Keizer School District where he had worked for the past 23 years.
Todd was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Sue. He is survived by his partner Sierra Buehler of Salem, Oregon; daughters Lindsay (Andrew) Goodpaster of Salem, Oregon and Kylee (Joe) Hawkinson of Glendive, Montana; son Austin Wilson of Salem, Oregon; 3 grandchildren; brothers Craig Wilson of Okemos, Michigan and Rodd (Debbie) Wilson of Sherwood, Oregon; sister Melissa (Richard) Kessell of Salem, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
Spending time with family, supporting youth sports for his grandchildren and niece and nephew, going to the casino, attending OSU women's basketball games, BBQing on the Traeger, and trips to Sunriver, Wallowa Lake, the jet boats in Grants Pass, and all over Oregon were some of the things Todd loved to do. He was known as the official “party planner” to his family. Todd would make brackets for every sports event and when it was golf season - he always knew who was at the top of the leaderboard. Todd watched every major golf tournament and was on the winning golf team for the Keizer Elks many years in a row.
Todd was a selfless man whose impact will always be felt by his family, friends, and everyone he came in contact with. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, and love will be remembered forever. The family would like to thank everyone who was a part of his life - who he connected with - and who supported him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
