Wayne Alden Taylor

Wayne was born April 20, 1933 in Wayne County, Indiana to Theodore and Mary Taylor. They moved their family to Oregon when he was young. In 1955, he married the love of his life, Christine. Wayne was a respected businessman in the Salem/ Keizer area who supported his family as a Drywall Contractor. He was a member of the Keizer Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 58 years. Together with his wife, they enjoyed vacationing in Central Oregon and speaking to others in the Keizer area regarding the hope of a future life on earth.

His wife Christine preceded him in death in 1997, also his brother Buryl in 1978 and Clyde in 2013. Survivors include his brother Dwight Taylor, Bend, his 3 children: sons, Dan Taylor of Sisters, Randy Taylor of Keizer, and daughter, Kathleen Hughes of Salem; and three grandchildren, Amos Hughes and Amy Nunembacher of Salem and Amber Bowman of Keizer.

Services will be held by means of Video Conferencing on Saturday, August 14 at 2pm originating from the Keizer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Private interment will be at Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem. Arrangements are by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen in Salem.
