Cory Maurice Fausett

1953 ~ 2011

Cory Maurice Fausett, age 58, of Roy, UT passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday Oct. 13, 2011. He was born January 16th, 1953 in Ogden, Utah to Maurice and Irene Fausett. He graduated from Bonneville High School. He had eight children with Camille Spencer, one child with Kathy Vaughn, and helped raise two children with his wife Carollynn.

Cory enjoyed being in the outdoors and loved taking his children fishing and out to the mountains to camp and hike. Cory believed in charity and helping people whenever able. He had a natural affinity for animals and was an excellent dog trainer. He loved to read and explore several different philosophies with his inquisitive nature. Cory was a constant jokester who loved to keep people on their toes and laughing. He always had jokes at the ready and loved to tell the same ones over and over, even if he was the only one laughing. “Besides that Mrs. Lincoln how was the Opera?” –Cory Fausett

Cory is survived by his wife Carollynn Fausett, his children; Eric(Julie) Fausett, Corilee(TJ) Milligan, Cami(Shad) Krueger, Brady(Shannon) Fausett, Kory(Cate) Fausett, Justin Crabb, Jeff Crabb, fourteen grandchildren, mother Irene Fausett, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Cory was preceded in death by his father Maurice Fausett, and four infant children.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Roy 23rd LDS Ward located at 5930 South 2200 West Roy, UT. A visitation will be held prior to services at 11:30 – 12:45. Interment will take place at Washington Heights Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cory M Fausett memorial fund at America First Credit Union.
