

1931 – 2016
Gloria Allison Wilson passed away surrounded by family on June 21, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gloria was born February 13, 1931 on the family homestead/farm between Fresno and Havre, Montana. She was the youngest of three girls (sisters Lilly and Ocie). She attended grade school in Kremlin, Montana and graduated from Havre High School. She married Jim Allison in 1951 and had two daughters, Sue (Lee) Miller of Arizona, and Diane (Kent) Chartrand of Salt Lake City. After the death of her husband in 1977, she married Bob Wilson in 1987, and became stepmother to Pat (Charlie) Amus of Salinas, California, two grandchildren Melinda (Jim) Ronka of California (son Connor), and Ryan (Bridget) Banta of Texas (children William, Annabel, and Coleson).
She worked at Gambles Dept. Store, Clacks Hardware, and General Adjustment Bureau in Montana, and later as an office manager for Dr. Richard Sonntag (ophthalmologist) in Salt Lake City. She lived in Montana, Washington State, and Utah. She enjoyed traveling and visited Alaska, the Holy Land, Egypt, Peru, Morocco, Hawaii, Norway, Spain, and many U.S. states. She always lived by and encouraged others that if you get the opportunity – Go!
Gloria was an active member of Wasatch Presbyterian Church (50 years), and served as a Deacon. She was a member of PEO Chapter Q, loved playing Bridge, attending the symphony, Jazz games, the opera, and especially family gatherings. Gloria was kind, loving and caring to all she met.
Proceeded in death by her sisters Lilly and Ocie, husbands Jim and Bob, and daughter Sue. She is survived by many loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Wasatch Presbyterian Church, or charity of choice.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 27th, 2016 1 p.m. at Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 S. 1700 E. SLC, Utah. Funeral services under the direction of Evans & Early Mortuary.
