Linda C Higley

Our loving wife and mother, Linda Carol Higley, left this life March 4, 2013 to join loved ones on the other side of the veil. She was born July 13, 1945 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Horace Walker and Phyllis McIntire. She married Don S. Higley February 4, 1961. They had just celebrated their 52nd anniversary.

Together they had three children, Becky (Brett) Butler of Clinton, Utah, Kelly (Rosa) Higley of Tuscon, Arizona and Lorie (Gary) Hatcher of Hooper, Utah. Linda worked at Delmonte and at Weber County Hospital/Heritage Park as a nursing assistant for 29 years. She retired, and she and Don became camp hosts at Willard Bay for 18 years. They resided in Brigham City during the summer and Quartzsite Arizona in the winter where Linda worked at Cactus Curler Beauty Salon.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and two great-grand children, Kaybree and Paxton. She leaves behind her loving husband and 3 children, 9 grand children and 10 great-grand children, one sister and one brother. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends in Quartzsite, Arizona and in Utah.

The family would like to thank all of those who have shared their support and love at this difficult time. Services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel at 1708 W. 800 N., Clinton, Utah. There will be a viewing at 5 PM and the funeral service at 7 PM.
