Born Feb. 25th, 1932 in Tarsney, Missouri to Robert and Helena Stark.
Graduated from Chrisman High School in Independence, Missouri, transferred to Utah as Payroll Supervisor nationwide of Skaggs Drug Co in 1973. Married Horace S. Ensign in 1976 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1977. Owned and operated Montgomery Wards Catalog store, and later became a Century 21 Realtor. An Avon Representative for over twenty years and received many awards.
She was an active member of the LDS church. Served faithfully in church callings and enjoyed serving at the Jordan River Temple.
Survived by children Linda (Danny) Wiesemeyer, Sandy Gray, Patty Bernard, Douglas (Pat) Ensign, Christine (David) Despain, Sherrin (Jeff) Warner, and Michael Ensign. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, seven siblings, her loving husband (Hod Ensign), son Dennis Bernard, and grandson Brian Stewart.
Mom was an extremely hard worker and survivor. Enjoyed games, wonderful caretaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.
Thank you to the loving hospice caregivers that provided wonderful care. Thank you to Sandy and her granddaughter (Lori Pryor) for their dedication and love as her caregivers.
Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday, July 10th at the Riverton 11th Ward, 1855 W 13400 S with a viewing an hour prior. A viewing will also be held Tuesday, July 9th from 6-8 pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S Highland Drive.
