Roger Kent Park

He graduated in 1953 from Granite High School.

He married Karleen Thornwall on September 19, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Roger was a beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He worked for many years as a lineman, most recently for Utah Power and Light.

He loved golf and played whenever possible. During his retirement years, he worked part time at Mountain View golf course.

He also enjoyed woodworking and working in his garden.

He loved his grandchildren Shane (Christi), Elliot, John (Kara), Jake (Kelsey), Madalyn (Paul) and Preston and his great grandchildren Lexi, Davis, Sophie, Quinn, Harley Ray, William, and Nora.

Survived by siblings Gerald Park, Sharron (Neldon) Fullmer and Billy (Ally) Park; son Drew Park and daughter Margaret (Rob) Deklerk, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Karleen Park and daughters Marie Grace Park and Dawna Park.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, with a viewing an hour prior.
