Alice "Nadine" Nibling, age 97, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. Alice was born November 26, 1924, in Coleman County, Texas to Jess and Pearl (Sparks) Summers. Nadine graduated from Talpa High School and attended San Angelo College. Nadine married the love of her life, Jerre Nibling on February 19, 1949. She worked several jobs in the San Angelo area and retired after 28 years as an office manager from West Texas Moving and Storage.
She enjoyed watching sports; especially the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Mavericks.
Nadine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Jerre Wayne Nibling; her step daughter, June Weeks; her brothers, Murry Summers, JA Summers, Phil Summers, and Harvey Summers, and one sister, Ila Mae Bullion.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara Nibling, Marilyn Nibling and Jim Nibling; her brother, Doug Summers; her sister, Lou Ann Hedden, as well as two granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 9th, 2022, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a memorial donation be made to a charity of your choice.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Kindred Hospice, Shannon Medical Center, and San Angelo Nursing and Rehab.
