Bernice "Berna" Aguirre Niavez Logay was born on September 18, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas. She passed away on March 26, 2018 at Shannon Medical Center. She was a lover of books, pop culture, and psychology. She was sharp. eloquent, and could make anyone laugh. Though her body was weak, her spirit remained free and uninhibited. She touched so many lives and she will be greatly missed. We love you forever!
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Aaron Logay, her father, Cruz G. Niavez of San Angelo, three sisters, Evelyn Niavez of San Angelo, Marina Niavez Brown and husband Mark of Palmdale, CA, and Cynthia Niavez Bassham and husband Robert of San Angelo. She is also survived by her nieces, Taylor Renee Brown, 22, Nicole Marie Brown, 17, and Renee Solis, 14.
Visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5-7 PM. A funeral service for Bernice will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 AM in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
