Bertha Alicia Vasquez

Bertha Alicia Vasquez, 52, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015. She was born on Sept. 16, 1962 in CD Acuna, Mexico. Bertha is preceded in death by her parents Cipriano and Tomasa Vasquez and her beloved grandson David M. Magallan.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her children Diana Vasquez (Jesse), Jose Alfredo Gonzalez, Alfonzo Gonzalez (Anita), Juliana Gonzalez, and Yvette Gonzalez; ten grandchildren; her siblings Juana Cantera, Rodrigo Vasquez, Jorge Vasquez, Lupe Hernandez, Ciria Favila, Diamantina Ramirez, Maria Valtierra, Leticia Vasquez, and Antonio Vasquez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at Johnson’s Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A celebration of Bertha's life is at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hernandez, Johnny Favila, Hector Rodriguez, Israel Gonzalez, David Vasquez, Benito Ramirez, Danny Vasquez, and Abraham Garcia.
