

Cora O. Terry, 95, of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, in a local hospital. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Portis Ribble and Jim Murphy officiating. She was born to Elbert O. Higgins and Mattie Ellen Higgins on Aug. 22, 1917, in Robert Lee, Texas. She married the love of her life, Wallace N. Terry, on Feb. 10, 1945, in San Angelo, Texas. They had 61 wonderful years together. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ. Her greatest joy was watching after her two grandchildren, Bobby and Andrew Terry. They were the light of her life. Cora worked 33 years for Stroman Abstract Title Company. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Lawrence Higgins, Floyd Higgins, Lloyd Higgins and Bill Higgins; sisters Elsie Higgins and Lela Smith. She is survived by son Stephen Terry and wife Judy and grandsons Bobby and Andrew, all of San Angelo; sister Janie Bruton and husband John L. of Midland, Texas; special sister-in-law Kayo Higgins of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
