On Monday, July 23, 2012, a radiant spirit came to an end. Teenye's life began on Nov. 1, 1931, in Slaton, Texas. She was born into the English clan of E.B. and Alice English, becoming the youngest sister to Roy English and Billie Pearson. Her two loves in life were De Rex Williams Jr. (Willie) and Joe C. Vinson. She was avid bridge player, reader, motorcycle rider, cat lover and wanted to enjoy life. Teenye is survived by her son, De Rex Williams III; daughter Sallye W. King; daughter and son-in-law Hollye and John Redwine; along with three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A private internment will be conducted Friday, July 27, 2012, to be followed by a celebration of life at 6 p.m. at Zentner's Daughter Steak House.
