Florene Houston Hook

Florene Houston-Hook went to be with our Lord December 7, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Hook, son Ed Hook, Linda Hook, her parents, and other cousins. She was survived by her daughter- in- law Norma Jean Hook, grandchildren Craig Hook and his wife Sherri Hook, Larry Hook and his wife Robin Hook, Janet Jones and her husband Chris Jones, also by her great grandchildren Whitney Weidner and her husband Cody Weidner, Bo Hook, Amy Wilson, Kyle Wilson and his wife Chelcie Wilson, Jessica Hook, Weston Hook, Walker Hook, Major Hook, Micaela Oliver, Shelby Oliver, Skylar Oliver and her wife Bethany. She also was survived by several great-great grandchildren, Cousin Joe Paul Bethune, and beloved friend and housekeeper Nan Chowning. She was known to many as “Grandma”. She loved the Lord with all her heart and never missed a chance to pray for her family and her many acquaintances. She demonstrated unconditional love for her family. We could list a number of accomplishments over her life time but the biggest accomplishment she was proudest of was her family and her salvation. She will be missed dearly. She is singing in heaven!!! Arrangements for Mrs. Hook are the following; Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Johnson's Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Miller officiating.
