Frances Theresa Mark

Frances Mark, of San Angelo, passed from this earthly life on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016. She was 90 years young. Per her wishes, there will be no funeral service at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Frances was born on May 6, 1925 in Youngstown, Ohio to Frank and Elizabeth Kundus Markowitz. She was a bookkeeper for Ryder Trucking in Jacksonville, Florida, and also worked for the IRS. She loved figure skating and Perry Como. She will be missed dearly.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; son Robert Haag; and sisters Margaret Cramer, Veronica Irving, and Matilda Powers. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Jordan of San Angelo; grandchildren: Milton Jordan of San Angelo, Christina Jordan of Ft. Worth, Texas, Darline Haag of Menifee, California, and Fran English of Canyon Lake, California; and brother and sister Bill Markovich and Mary Pyne, both of Youngstown, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity of your choice.
