Harry Lee West

He was born January 9, 1939 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of Harry Darwin West and Faye Victoria Sherl West. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a heavy equipment operator and a mechanic. He loved riding motorcycles and working on them. Most of his free time involved either touring or riding dirt bikes. He had formerly lived in El Paso and had been a resident of Bronte for the past two years.

He is survived by his wife Barbara West of Bronte, two sons, Joseph West and wife Heather of Bronte and James West and wife Kathy of Florida, a daughter, Jeanice Riley and husband Tony of West Virginia. 13 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday in the Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel.
