Just learned about the loss of your Father.  May God give you peace and blessings with his passing.  Think of you so often.

I worked with Horace on many ERA Department publications while we were both employed at the Texas Employment Commission. He was always such a fine gentleman with impeccable taste. The world will miss him. Carolyn Cobb

I remember Mr. Goodson of course when I was in high school with Guy and Glee. Then I knew him as Goody when my precious Daddy was at Allison House.  I would visit with him when I visited Dad and talk to him about remembering him in the good old days.  I know it has been a long, tough road for everyone and I'm keeping all of you -- Doris, Guy, Gill, Glee, Nancy -- in my prayers.

austin. we have been friends through out
his employment in Austin TEC.

To the family and other friends of Horace Neil: Both of us knew him through HS and then again as a fellow TECer. May the Lord be with all of you in your sorrow, but pray that you will find Joy in the days ahead. Elliott and Evelyn (Joiner) Harlow. TECers will remember me as "Dave" Harlow

May I offer my heartfelt condolences to Mr. Goodson's family.  I worked with Horace when he was the Director of LMI at the Texas Employment Commission, and I was a greenhorn Economist with the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Horace was a true professional and a joy to work with.  He coached me with good advice and shared more than a few colorful jokes that have helped me along in my career.  God bless him and all of you.  May he rest in peace.

Guy, Glee, Gill, Doris, Nancy,
Horace Neil and all of you were so much a part of my life growing up. Backyard barbecues and water skiing are just a few of the fond memories that I will never forget. As much as I would like to, I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral. May he rest in peace and my sincere condolences to all of you.

I recall many a time talking with your Father here at TWC (TEC) and do send my condolances for your loss.. He was good, traditional speaking man. He always had  a smile or a kind word when I deliver items to him..
