James Edward Clark

Mr. Clark was born December 26, 1933 in San Angelo to Clyde “C. D.” Daniel and Velma Miller Clark. He worked at the Goodyear Proving Grounds, AMPI (Associated Milk Producers, Inc.) and Clark’s Auto Parts and Wrecker Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and mother to his children, Mattie Corene Clark. James married Dottye Savoie Clark in 1987; she passed in 2008. Edith Flury became a close companion to James for the last 12 years of his life. James was preceded in death by his parents; by two brothers: Bobby Wayne Clark and Billy Joe Clark; two sisters, Elsie Olness and Virginia Duffy, a son, Michael Douglas Clark, a daughter, Valerie Clark Wells and a 23 year old granddaughter, Mitzi M. Long Walter in 1996.

He is survived by two sons, James Clyde Clark and Matthew Whitfield Clark and a daughter, Sharon Clark Long; two brothers, Wilburn Clark and Leroy Clark and two sisters, Juanita Broom and Mary McMillan, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
