

James A. Crimm 89, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord Saturday November 9th 2013. He is preceded in death by sister Loraine Harrell, sister Ruth Fowler, brother Lewis D Crimm, brother George F Crimm, wife Betty L Crimm, and son James “Jim” B Crimm. He is survived by his son Butch Crimm and wife Susanne, grandson Shane Crimm and wife Shelly, granddaughter Andria Crimm of Boerne. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Garrett, Ashlyn, Shalyn, Jackson and Jemma along with two nephews and three nieces.
James, better known as Gramps, was born in Runnells County. He grew up ranching and farming. He retired from Tucker Drilling Company after 36 years of service in the oil field. He continued ranching and farming throughout his life making many cherished friends along the way. Gramps was a big man with a huge heart. Anyone who knew him had a friend.
The Bruce Fly family has been loved and appreciated beyond words for more than 50 years for their friendship and family support. Special thanks to Lyn Fly for his assistance through the years.
Honorary pall bearers will be Garrett Crimm, Randall Lowrey, Russell Lowrey, Richard Lowrey, Jim Minatra, Cory Lerma, and Lyn Fly.
Family visitation will be Johnson Funeral Home 6 pm – 7:30 pm Wednesday, November 13th. Burial will be at Lawnhaven Cemetery Thursday, November 14th at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Meals for the Elderly of San Angelo are requested.
