Javier attended Christoval High School and graduated in 2003. He later began his career as a welder, working for Crowder Services with his father. Javier married Amanda Womack in 2008 and together they had three beautiful children.
He was a proud father, son, husband, uncle, brother and welder. He loved his family deeply and always lived his life to the fullest. Javier had the most precious grin. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his children, the way he encouraged and supported others, being a damn good welder, and loving Christ.
Javier was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, Tomas and Angelina Riojas and Estaban and Otila Fava; his uncle, James Riojas; his aunt, Josie Fava; his uncle, Philip Fava, and good friend, Justin Lytle.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, his loving wife, Amanda Jane Riojas; his children, Cienna Riojas, Caedyn Riojas, and Cannon Riojas; his brother, Manuel Riojas, and 2 sisters, Rebecca Riojas and Amanda Riojas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Maricela Riojas, Kevin Yates, Kevon Yates, Jacoby Yates, Olivia Riojas, Manuel Riojas Jr., Laila Mote, London, Salita, and Sinaa.
A prayer service for Javier will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ivy Cemetery in Christoval, Texas.
Pallbearers include Pete Smith, Manuel Riojas Jr., Nando Aguirre, Gilbert Aguirre, Coty Pruitt, Jon Watson, Steve Capps, and Adan Pasillas.
