Joe Angel Perez

Joe Angel Perez, 58, of San Angelo, passed away on August 30, 2020. He was born on September 22, 1961 in San Angelo, TX to Margarita Juarez and Joe Angel Perez. Joe attended Central High School, He then began his career in Mechanics, working for Pikes Peak Energy as a Diesel Mechanic. Joe married Maria Guadalupe on May 11, 2013 and had 4 children. He had a passion for his family. Joe will always be remembered for his roofing, welding and mechanics. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Angel Perez; maternal grandparents Floratina and Frank Juarez; and his paternal grandparents Josephina and Joe Perez. Joe is survived by his mother Margarita Juarez Moreno; wife Maria Guadalupe; children Andres, Gloria, Jose and Gerardo; siblings Florence and Gabino Garcia, Josephine Ibarra and Tony Barrera, Caroline and Felix Arredondo, Margie Garza, Bernadina and Raul Herrera, Andrea Arredondo, Margarito and Lisa Herrera, Epolo Sr. and Lupe Herrera, Paulina Herrera and Cruz and Martha Moreno; 12 grandchildren; 40 nieces and nephews; 97 great nieces and nephews; and 12 great-great nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, September 7, 2020 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home; Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in Belvedere Memorial Park.
