There aren’t enough words to describe what John meant to this family. To say the least, John had a radiant smile and a contagious laugh that could brighten anyone’s day. He had a huge heart and would surely travel the extra mile to help anyone in need. John was the apple of his Grandpa John’s eye. He will forever be the hero to his baby sister, Saebra. He touched all of our lives and will be greatly missed. In true form, John would have wanted us to celebrate his life and remember the special moments each of us created with him.
John carried a medallion of the Virgin Mary on his key chain. We found this medallion, at the crash site, fully intact and take solace knowing that our Blessed Mother was with him then and John is with Her and our Heavenly Father now. No more worries John.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents Lupe and Apolinar Mascorro, uncles Apolinar Mascorro Jr. and Ricardo Mascorro, and cousin Faye Valentine Davis.
John is survived by his parents Gary and Leny Davis; mother Doralinda Davis; sisters Saebra Davis, Lisa DeHoyos, and Jessica DeHoyos; brother Nic DeHoyos; grandparents John T. and Carolyn J. Davis and Mary and Enrique Sanchez; and special nephew Rylan Hererra, all of San Angelo; numerous nieces and cousins; and special friend Valerie Garcia.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Anthony Davis, Steven Davis, Amber Willman, Alonzo Miramontes, James Meza, and Raul Fuentes. George Meza will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
