John Peter Gengler, age 71, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. John was born February 5, 1951 in Deadwood, South Dakota to Joseph Gengler and Rose (Blondell) Carrie. John worked as a cook at ASU for 44 years. For the last 3 years, he has been a cook for ADACCV at the Journey Center. John was good at his profession and enjoyed cooking for others. He had a passion for serving the Lord and was an active member of Parkside Community Foursquare Church.
John also enjoyed spending time with his wife and loved his pets dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Gengler as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5-7 pm. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
