Judith Marie Harper (Butt) of San Angelo passed away on January 27, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1945 in San Angelo to Alfred and Ada Butt. Judy attended Central High School and graduated in the class of 1964, after school she began her career in banking. Judy married the love of her life Herman Harper on September 28, 1968 and had 2 children together. She had a passion for ceramics, Christmas and her grandchildren, she will always be remembered for her chex mix also known as “trash”. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Herman Harper; her parents Al and Ada Butt and her brother Jimmy Butt. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Paul Harper and wife Toyha Harper and John Harper and wife Jennifer Harper; her grandchildren Jade Harper, Emery Harper, Presley Harper and Jordan Harper; she is also survived by her nephew Darrell Butt and wife Lisa Butt and their son Noah Butt. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 in the mausoleum of Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
