Julia Levario

She was married to her high school sweetheart, Juan Levario Jr., sharing a lifelong bond built on love and devotion. Julia was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Her greatest joy was her family.

Julia was raised in Big Lake and dedicated more than 20 years to serving her community working at Dairy Queen. After relocating to Midland, she continued her work at Chick-fil-A, where her warmth and kindness touched many lives. In her retirement years, Julia found joy in spending time at Casa De Amigos where she was an avid bingo player and consistent Friday Bingo Tournament Champion; she also enjoyed working on puzzles, watching westerns, antiquing, and crafts. Julia was a big fan of the Golden State Warriors, and a part-time fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys.

Julia expressed her love through cooking and baking. She was especially known for her delicious pumpkin roll, homemade fudge, Christmas cookies, and pineapple upside-down cake—treats her family will always remember. She made holidays magical, filled her home with love, and created memories that her family will cherish.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Juan Levario, Jr., her brother, Mario Ybarra , her sister, Cynthia Salazar, and her great grandson Sterling Sky Gordy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura Levario (San Antonio, TX); her son, Johnny Levario and wife Aymee (Midland TX); her grandchildren, John (Samantha) Levario (Seguin TX), Samantha Munoz (San Antonio, TX), Josh Levario (Brooklyn, NY) and Jordyn (Christian) Hernandez (Midland, TX). Her great grandchildren, Gabriel Cross Gordy , Jett and Pheonix Levario & her siblings, Armando Ybarra and wife Leticia (Big Lake, TX), Yolanda Subia and husband Felipe (Kermit, TX), Barbara Dominguez and husband Richard (Grape Creek, TX), Ida Marquez and husband Juan (Big Lake, TX). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A woman of faith, Julia was a devoted member of St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church in Big Lake and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Midland.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Monday, March 2, 2026, with a rosary to begin at 6 pm in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at St. Margaret of Cortana Catholic Church with burial to follow at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake. Pallbearers will be John Levario, Josh Levario, Chris Levario, Armando Ybarra Jr., Anthony Ybarra and Alfonso Valadez.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Samantha at Casa De Amigos and her tablemates for their companionship and support.

Mom, thank you for always being there when we needed you.

Granny, we will forever miss seeing you at your stove, cooking with love, and the many joyful moments we shared.
