Linda Lou Maldonado DeLaCruz

A celebration of her life is at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Clark of Celebration Church officiating. Burial will follow in Belvedere Memorial Park.

She was born to Marcelo and Guadalupe Maldonado on May 17, 1953 in Sinton, Texas. She married George Cruz DeLaCruz on June 13, 1970 in Stanton, Texas. They shared 35 years together. Linda will be remembered as being a very stern but fair and loving person and mother. She will be missed dearly, but her family takes comfort in knowing that they will see her again soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Mary Olivas. Survivors include daughter Cindy Lou DeLaCruz Baber; grandchildren Katrina Raegan and John Gilbert Ardila; son George DeLaCruz, Jr.; grandchildren: Joshua Ray, Derek Erasmo, Austin Nicholas, and Jacobie Madison DeLaCruz; brother-in-law and sister Arnulfo and Irma Quezada; and nieces and nephews: Abel, Idalia, Alvin, Arcadius, and James Quezada and Ernesto and Ashley Olivas.
