Maria Juanita Guerrero

Maria Juanita “Janie” Guerrero born July 9, 1969 earned her wings July 7, 2021 at age 51. She was born in Del Rio, TX to Federico and Guadalupe Guerrero. She is preceded in death by her brother Felix Guerrero and her father Federico Guerrero. Janie moved to San Angelo, TX from Del Rio, TX and worked at Shannon Medical Center Hospital for many years then worked at several convenient stores. She was a people person and would always give the last of what she had. Janie will always be remembered as having a heart of gold. She was always ready to help where ever she was needed. She will always be remembered by laughter, being witty and being loud, she loved music, family gatherings, dancing and let’s not forget her loving her large soda with extra ice. Janie is survived by daughter Elizabeth Guerrero; 2 sons Steven Casares, Jr. and wife Connie and Jose Guerrero and wife Allison of San Angelo, TX; mother Guadalupe Guerrero of San Angelo, TX; sisters and brothers Rosa Carrillo and husband Juan, Federico Guerrero, Jr. and wife Frances of San Angelo, TX, Benito Guerrero and wife Priscilla of Odessa, TX, Maria Antonia Guerrero and Alicia Guerrero of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren Eterniity Guerrero, Genesis Casares, Avery Guerrero, Toby Ray Fitchett, Jr., Jose Jeremiah Guerrero and Olivia Casares; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Johnson’s Funeral Home, 435 W. Beauregard Ave San Angelo, TX. There will be a private viewing Friday, July 23, 2021 for family only. Public viewing will begin at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 with a rosary to be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Casares, Jr., Jose Guerrero, Federico Guerrero, Jr., Benito Guerrero, Federico Guerrero III and Toby Ray Fitchett, Jr. The family wants to thank everyone for their prayers and donations.
