Marilyn Jean Braddock

She was born November 22, 1945, in Mason, Texas, the daughter of late Curtis and Verna Holloway. She was the youngest of seven siblings. Her surviving siblings include Curtis Holloway, A.F.”Boog” Holloway, and Carrol Don Holloway. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruby Holloway and brothers Garland Holloway and Edward Holloway.

Ms. Braddock was an employee of Community Hospital and thoroughly enjoyed her job. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially with her niece and nephew Blaine and Nina Kiser. She also adored and spent many fun years with her four long term friends, Mildred Briley, Jerry Richardson, Nedra Vest, and late Margo Sewell. She was thoroughly involved and loved spending most of her free time watching the sports and sharing the interests of her grandchildren, Ashton Braddock, Haegan Braddock, Mache’ Mitchell, and great grandchild, River Braddock.

Marilyn is also survived by her daughter Enola Gay George, son Earl Wayne Braddock, and daughter-in-law Debby Braddock.

The service will be held at Johnsons Funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 29th, 2011. There will be no graveside service following.
