Visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 PM Friday at Bethel Baptist Church, 906 E. 12th Street, in Big Lake. A celebration of Mary's life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church in Big Lake with burial following at Glen Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
Mary was born February 9, 1922 in Burnet County, Texas, to Joseph P. and Emma A. Fagan May. She had been a member and served on the board of directors of the Big Lake Trailblazers, and worked in the community and was active in many organizations in Big Lake for many years. Mary was a charter member and extremely active in Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.W. (Buster) Runion and her brothers, Morris May and L.C. May.
Mary is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many, many close friends.
