Michael Lee Robison

Michael Lee Robison, 60, of San Angelo passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born on May 10, 1963 in San Angelo, TX to Monnie and Ruth Robison. Michael attended Central High School and graduated in the class of 1981. He worked for Keyno Construction as an operator as well as Lane Weathermart. Michael married Velinda Koonce on May 10, 2012. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge and Back The Badge, he had a passion for softball, fishing, hunting and golf. Michel will always be remembered for his humor, hard work and kindness. He was preceded in death by his parents Monnie and Ruth Robison. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Velinda Koonce; stepson Garrett Potts; children Alexandra Robison and Cassidy Robison; siblings Tawnia Swafford, Milessa Murtishaw and Mickey Robison; grandson Mark Potts; nieces Amber Ferguson, Chastin Swafford and Madison Hearn and nephews Weston Swafford, Justin Redman and Jason Murtishaw. Viewing will be held Thursday, September 7th and Friday, September 8th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life reception for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Luigi’s Restaurant. The family would like to thank Johnson’s Funeral Home and Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, as well as the Dr’s and 5th floor nurses at Shannon Medical Center, Danny Meeks and Hospice of San Angelo.
