I'm so sorry to hear about Michael's passing, we were fellow Aries (I am exactly one year minus one day older) as well as fellow nerds.  We met in 1995 in Denver and were friends for some years until I moved.  We drifted apart as so often happens and I was thinking of him when I came across this sad news.  He was always so enthusiastic about the future, looking forward to a time when we lived in a world with AI and VR.

We made it, friend.

I enjoyed working with him. He was a great guy to work with.
