Roberto Aguilar

Roberto Aguilar, 75, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. Family was by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. Roberto was born July 6, 1937 in Robstown, Texas, to Guadalupe and Ramona Aguilar. He married Alvarina Ontiveros on July 1, 1956. Roberto was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and a sister, Alicia Rosales. Survivors include his children, Anita Waller, Teresa Aguilar, Lynne Griffin and husband Bobby and Joe Aguilar; grandchildren Jessica Lara, Nicole Jaimes and husband George Negrete, Jade Waller, Tonya Thomas and husband Von Carl Thomas Jr., Amanda Alvarez, Amy Aguilar, Brian Thomas, Ali Sedeghi and Issac Cortinez; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice of San Angelo and New Century Hospice of Austin.
