Rosa Lara, 50 of San Angelo, passed away October 25, 2014 at home. The family will receive friends for the Rosary from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born on September 1, 1964 in Pecos, Texas. Survivors include husband Gary Lara; mother Betty Perez; sister Betty Carrillo and spouse Carlos; brother Oscar Ruiz and spouse Cecilia; younger brother Eddie Ruiz and spouse Gris; children: Elvia Cortez and spouse David, Gary Lara, Jr., and Eddie Ray Lara; grandchildren: Daniel, Andrew, Hector, Israel, and Antonio Cortez; along with many family members and friends.
She has developed many lifelong friends with the loving heart of hers. Rosa enjoyed taking care of others, especially the time with her grandchildren. She was very loving and outgoing. Her personality was contagious. Special thanks to New Body Nutrition, and family and friends who donated to help.
