I am very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a great person. So sad to see him taken from his family so young. I have so many fond memories of him and when I think about them I just laugh and then more memories come to mind. Prayers for your family and friends!

Jimmy was my student many years ago.  I remember him being such a sweet young boy.  It was a pleasure to reconnect after so many years at Sonic when he had grown into such a wonderful young man.  Prayers for his family.  RIP Jimmy.  You will me missed.

Jimmy what can I say i've never seen somebody take so much pride in there job. He trained me st Sonic 8 years ago for my first job he was my manager my friend and buddy we worked together for 5 years we didn't always get along but i always respected him. besides being the best worker he was also a great role model he had nice things a beautiful family and showed hard work does pay off ill never know why good people leave us so early but i guess God wanted him closer and who could blame him Jimmy son was a heck of a guy

Jimmy will be missed by many people. He has definitely left some wonderful memories with us. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I met Jimmy Son over ten years ago and had the pleasure of working alongside him for five years. During our work days, Jimmy Son was a delight. He always had something funny to say. On bad days, he knew exactly how to make someone smile. I remember so much of what he said and can still remember sitting around laughing. 
Jimmy was the best example of what an employer looks for in its employees...always on time, never lazy, constantly working or cleaning something, dependable, positive attitude, worked well with others, and he trained many of us in multiple positions. The more I think back, the more I can visualize him working and talking to me. He used to say "work and talk" or if we were extremely busy (which was often) he would say "ok, talk later!" I can still hear him. My favorite memories were playing volleyball at ASU, Jim ,was pretty quick. Then, his kids were young, but I remember Pat would join him at times. Now they are all grown.
I kept in touch with Jimmy ever so often. Just a few weeks ago I called him to see what he was up to, I got no answer or return call...l wish I had talked to him. While I lived in San Angelo, I would have considered Jimbo one of my good friends...I didn't want to lose touch with him. He will be greatly missed by many. If I had anything to share with others, it would be what a great person God now has in his kingdom, Jimmy is finally pain free and probably looking down with a smile at how many people he touched. I will miss you my friend.
