Selestina M. Valdez

Selestina was born to Anastacio and Jesusa Rodriguez on April 6, 1916 in Lockhart Texas.

Selestina married the love of her life Aristeo Valdez on February 17, 1945. She worked as a homemaker and took very good care of her family which she loved greatly.

A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday October 21, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. Monday October 22, 2012 with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Selestina is survived by her two daughters Paula Youngkin and husband Michael of San Angelo, Linda Rogers and husband Charles of Colleyville, Texas; son-in-law Manuel Ortegon of San Angelo; Four grandchildren Melissa Waggoner and husband Kyle of Keller, Texas, Lisa Ortegon of San Antonio, Texas, Marie Youngkin, Daniel Ortegon both of San Angelo, Texas; Two Great Grandchildren Elizabeth and Miles Waggoner of Keller, Texas; Five Nieces Lala Gonzales, Cruz Trevino, Rosie Trevino, Cheva Trevino, Josie Trevino all of San Angelo, Texas; Five nephews Leon Martinez of Webster, Texas, Jimmy Martinez, and Julian Martinez both of Fort Worth, Texas, Nate Martinez, and Frank Martinez both of San Angelo, Texas. Pallbearers include Leon Martinez, Jimmy Martinez, Julian Martinez, Julian Martinez Jr., Nate Martinez, Frank Martinez.
