Sharon (Hunt) Plecenik passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in San Angelo, TX, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Greenville, MS to Stuart L. Hunt and Dorothy (Perkins) Donald, both now deceased.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Michael M. Plecenik, Jr., USAF Ret. She had a long career in accounting at various locations due to their military travel. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed MahJong. She is also survived by her three daughters; Carol Leonard and husband Pierre of Las Vegas, NV; Patty Plecenik of San Angelo, TX and Shari Malcomb and husband Mike of Mertzon, TX; five grandchildren, Rachel Bush, Rebecca Chiriboga, Aaron Leonard, Danielle Plecenik, and Hannah Leonard; two great granddaughters, Sofi and Alex Bush; and three sisters, Patricia Hustus, Beverly Bowman, and Adrienne Grant.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church in San Angelo on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
