Eric, the days have passed but our heartbreak seems to get bigger and heavier.  With each passing day, we miss you more. We have attempted to dial your number to share a funny story or some news.  Several days ago, I tried to call you about losing Ben, but of course I couldn’t.
I HATE GLIOBLASTOMA!  It ravages people, and it knows no boundaries.  Not age, not color, not rich or poor, and has no prejudices. NONE AT ALL!
We miss your big ole laugh, the love you gave freely, and your love for Chevi.  Lord, that baby misses you.
Look out for your brother Ben as he joins you in heaven.  It won’t be long before dad and I join you. We thank God for you. Semper Fidelis.

Eric was a friend from when we all lived in Pecos.  I kept in touch with him when he was deployed.  I know Eric has been through alot in his short life and has inspired so many to keep the faith.  Many prayers for you Tom, Mary Alice, Chevi & Amber.  Eric will always be in your hearts and now an Angel to watch over you all.

He was the best man at his Papaw and mine wedding. He told his Papaw he better be good to me or he would hunt him down.  He was a great guy. The world lost one of the best. R.i.p. Eric.
