Victor worked hard throughout his life, first as a ranch hand and later as a school bus driver—roles that reflected a steady dedication to doing what needed to be done, and doing it well. In all he carried, there was a gentleness that others felt in his presence and remembered with gratitude.
Victor met his wife, Erlinda De La Garza, at a dance, and they were married on October 29th, 1960. Together they built a family rooted in love and enduring devotion, and he was deeply beloved by those who knew him best.
He was preceded in death by his son, Albert. He is survived by his wife, Erlinda De La Garza; his son, Noe Sr. (Monica); his grandsons, Noe Jr. (Saray) and Albert Jr. (Samantha); his great-granddaughters, Chelsea and Ruby Rose; his bonus grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, and Jason Escobar; and his bonus great-grandchildren, Zion, Liam, Aiden, Mariah, Caye, Avah, Coltyn, Joshua Jr., Joseph, Maddie, and Aviana.
A man who loved to be outside, Victor found quiet comfort in the open air and simple moments. His life was marked by steady work, a gentle spirit, and the lasting affection of family and friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.
