Aida Angelica (Freire) Cape

Aida Angelica Freire Cape was born on September 7, 1918 and passed away on July 23, 2019. She was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico and graduated from New York University where she studied Occupational Therapy. After her studies, she entered the United States Army where she rose to the rank of Captain. As an officer and later a military spouse; she lived in California, Colorado, Kansas, Germany, Japan, and Panama before finally settling in Texas where she was a longtime resident of Windcrest and active member of Saint John Neumann Catholic Church. She is survived by the father of her children, Dr. Richard F. Cape, retired Colonel; her two daughters, Teresa and Elizabeth, and her two grandchildren, Ian and Gabriella.
