
Albert Harold Meyer passed away December 29, 2020 at Southwest General Hospital San Antonio, Texas at the age of 77. Born October 19, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harold William Meyer and Francis M. (Weidekamp) Meyer. He was raised in Castroville, Texas and enlisted in the US Navy, Vietnam era. Married February 2, 1965 to Lynda Gale Evers, he pursued a higher education and graduated from NTSU with a BSIA. Residing in St. Hedwig, Texas for many years, he was a woodworker at Oak Crest Middle School, cabinet making at the Institute of Texan Cultures, and running the woodshop at Ft. Sam Houston, and retired from Civil service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sienna Hares (David) and brother, Louis. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynda Meyer, 3 children: Lance J. Meyer (Kerry), Thea M. Echandy, and Durk H. Meyer; 10 grandchildren: Megan, Michela, Sydney, Dayland, Clarissa, Kaylin, Autumn, Nathan, Abby, and Kiersten and 5 great-grandchildren: Daniel, Ashlee, Anais, Monaluna and Alfredo.

Albert will be interred at Sunset Memorial Park located at 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218 in Rose Arbor, section 8, lot 421, space 4 of the West half.
