Alberta Clair Wood, of San Antonio, died Friday, December 3, 2010. She was born on August 28, 1919 in Charco, Goliad County, Texas. Alberta was a long time resident of San Antonio, and was an active member of Colonial Hills United Methodist Church.
She retired from civil service at Brooks AFB.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wood and Texie Woodruff Wood; sister, Mary Jo Wood Clarke; and brother, James Wood.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Wood; nephews, Kenneth Wood and James Wood; great-niece, Debra Wood Green.
