Alex is survived by his children, Veronica Wood, Amy Menchaca, and Ashley Gomez; 9 grandchildren, Alexandria, Maverick, Blake, Ethan, Madlyn, Ellianna, Talen, Myles, and MJ.
He is also survived by his brother Ray Gomez, and his sisters, Ana Olinger, Rosemary Hernandez, and Martha Mizicko.
Alex was particularly proud of his dedicated 27 years as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 to The United States Navy and his 10 years to The United States Postal Service.
He is a loving piece to the family and will be missed deeply. A gathering in loving memory of his life will be held
