

Lee grew up in Houston, Texas and later relocated to San Antonio with her mother. She graduated from Lee High School, in 1970 and married Mark, in 1971. Together they welcomed their only child, Heather, but later divorced in 1976. Shortly after that, she earned her cosmetology license and worked as a hairdresser. During that time, she met & married Kim (1977), moved to Washington State for 4 years, returned to Texas, divorcing Kim in 1984. During that time, she returned to school and received her Associate’s Degree in English, from UTSA. Following her time at UTSA, Lee continued to use her degree in various positions.
Then in 1985, Lee met and married the love of her life. She & Rocky were inseparable and did everything together, from dancing and bowling, to entering car shows. From 2002-2006, Lee & Rocky were Rodeo Calf Scramble Volunteers and from 2007-2014, they supported their beloved Spurs as members of the World-Famous Baseline Bums. In 2013, she decided she wanted to become a teacher and went back to school, to further her education. Unfortunately, her world came to an abrupt halt, when she lost Rocky to cancer, in 2014.
Lee would spend the next 10 years working for Pearson, which allowed her the flexibility and freedom to travel and the occasional visit with her daughter and grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Dudley “Rocky” Roquemore, her parents and her infant sister, Julia.She is survived by her daughter, Heather Carter Berna; grandchildren Bridget Berna, Taylor Berna & Kasey Berna, and great-grandchildren Jaxson, Chandler and Aven.
