In 2010, I escaped domestic violence. I was broken, afraid and alone. Most people saw ”damaged goods. ” not Angel. She never judged or made me feel ashamed. Forget therapy!I had Angel..! She listened to my stories and gave the best advise for months helping me heal, forgive, and move past that painful time. We shared great times together from BBQs, new apts, relationships, careers and births, even thru the bad like losing jobs, break ups, depression even brushes with the law. Lol. Thick n thin. Good n bad. I could always count on that girl. If she had not rode thru that storm with me 8 years ago. I'm absolutely positive I would not be the woman I am today. I'll NEVER find another friend as sweet, funny, positive and loyal as her. Nobody even comes close. Im blessed to say I got to have her in my life for the time that I did. And while I feel the agony of a broken heart, I listen to the songs we both loved and I can smile thru tears. Because I know where she is. She was my heaven sent Angel. And the Lord needed her back. I'll miss you with all my soul. Thank you for bringing me back to life Angel. This one's 4 you!!!!

Angel walked into my life just in time. I don’t know who I would be if she hadn’t changed my life. She taught me to be stronger than my circumstance. I remember the first time we danced and by the time the Selena melody was over, everyone had stopped dancing and were watching us. She said to me “how does. A white girl get Latina rhythm?! ..... I love you Angel!!! Until we meet again!! 💋💋❤️❤️💋💋

The first time I met Angel was in elementary school at Antonio Olivares. She was so funny and nice. Angel and her sister would always come to school a little late and angel would always say it's was my sister she took forever. And her sis was always so sincere and would just smile as we all knew it wasn't because of her sis . Her sis was always so quiet but Angel clearly made it known how much she loved her sis. We went on to middle school and high school together. I had the pleasure of being her friend that long . We shared a lot of fun times at South San (graphic arts class) . After high school people move on and go there separate ways but the wonderful thing you get to keep are memories.  I remember Angel at Kazen being in the band and she  would do funny things behind the teachers back and when we would laugh we would get caught and she would stay all quiet and never get in trouble but we all did and then she would just laugh at us. She was smart and a good friend to everyone... I'll remember her always and  may her mom and the rest of her family find peace.... god as welcomed you home.  God bless

We all have different memories of Angel but one thing we all have in common is the way she loved and lived. Yes, it came a little soon. It came as a shock and still feels a bit unreal.  She had the most amazing personality  that every single person who ever came into contact with her could feel while in her presence. It was a privilege to have worked with such an amazing, strong woman, who had such a deep care and love for her Residents.  Angel, I will always remember your courage, determination and sense of humour. I wish everyone could be so lucky to work with someone like you once in their lifetime. I am so grateful for the brief time I was able to spend with you and believe that the Angels are rejoicing because one of their own has rejoined them.
