Angela Martinez Sanchez, age 77, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico on May 16, 1945, to her parents, Ramon, and Rafaela (Santiago) Martinez. Angela grew up in Brooklyn, New York in the 1950’s and 60’s and loved the music and films of that era. She especially loved doo-wop songs, with her very favorite song being “There’s a Moon Out Tonight” by the Capris. She loved to laugh, enjoyed travel, and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Angela is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Juan Miguel Sanchez; her children, Miguel Sanchez, and Angela Campo; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
