Angelina Swift

Angelina Eppolito Swift, born in Houston on March 31st, 1931, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31st, 2002, at the age of 71 years. Angie was a life long resident of Stafford and Houston Texas. She moved to San Antonio in May to be closer to her family. Angie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a proud and spirited lady who was deeply devoted to her family and their well being. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guiseppi Eppolito and Vita Cannatella, her sister and best friend, Josephine Pavlock, her two brothers, Carlo Eppolito, and Vince Eppolito and brother-in-law, Joe Mattern. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jim Swift Sr., her daughter, Janie Rae Mundkowsky and her three sons, Jim Swift, Jr. Glen Swift and wife Mary Cecile, David Swift and wife Nadja, her brother, Gus Eppolito and wife Hazel and her sisters, Frances Vaughn and husband Bill, Mary Ellis and husband Cecil, Nancy Mattern, Lena Morgan and husband Ira and Willie Mae Bonham and husband Kenneth; brother-in-law William Pavlock; sisters-in-law Gerry Eppolito, and Wilma Eppolito. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Mundkowsky and wife Becky, Jennifer Mundkowsky, Jamie Swift, Lauren Swift, Jim Swift, III, Stephanie Dickerson, David Swift, Jr., Kasey Swift and two great-grandchildren, Faith Hancock and Noah Cavazos and numerous neices and nephews. Visitation and the sharing of precious memories will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2002 5:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
