
Angelita Esquer Falcon, 86, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at George University Hospital in Washington, DC. Her children and daughter-in-law were with her. A Native of Arizona, she was born in Harshaw on July 28, 1919 and grew up in Tombstone. She earned BA and MA degrees in education from Arizona Stat Teachers College in Flagstaff.
She was dedicated teacher who taught the primary grades for 40 years, teaching first in Ajo, Arizona. She also taught in the Tucson public schools from 1947-1956 and at Kindley Air Force Base, Bermuda, 1956-959. For 23 years, she taught first-grad in the Chicopee Massachusetts public schools system. She retired in June 1983.
She is survived by her two children, Carlos A. Falcon of Lexington Park. Maryland and Sylvia A. Falcon of New York, New York. In addition to her children, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Victoria Falcon: four grandchildren, Rachel Nelson of San Diego, California and Mattias, Micah and Mason Falcon of Lexington Park; and two great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Parker Nelson, of San Diego, California. Her Husband, Adolfo R. Falcon, died in 1997
She is deeply mourned by her family and friends who are grateful for every day she was present in their lives.
