Ann Marie Terrinoni, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully in her family home on July 9, 2025, at the age of 73. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, whose sense of humor, kindness, and honesty touched everyone who knew her.
She was born on September 26, 1951, in Bergen, New York, to Leon and Phyllis Fox. Ann attended college in Alfred, New York, where she met the love of her life, David, in a chance encounter that blossomed into a lifelong journey together. They were married for 52 years.
Ann was an avid gardener who found joy in tending to her plants and flowers. She loved to journal and read, and could often be found sitting peacefully in the backyard among her garden and wind chimes, lost in a good book or writing in her journal.
She was a talented knitter, quilter, and cross-stitcher who truly loved her crafts and excelled at all of them. Her creativity extended into her faith as well—Ann was deeply devoted to the church and generously used her knitting skills to create prayer shawls for those in need.
Ann’s caring spirit extended well beyond her crafts. She volunteered at a local soup kitchen, preparing and serving meals for those experiencing homelessness. She also delivered food to homebound individuals through Meals on Wheels, offering not just a meal, but meaningful companionship.
In the final years of her life, Ann lived with illness, but her love for her family never wavered. Even on the hard days, she found reasons to smile, to share her wit and wisdom, and to remind those around her of what truly matters. She held tightly to her faith, finding comfort in the belief that heaven was waiting for her—and that she would one day be reunited with those she loved and missed.
She is survived by her husband, David Terrinoni; her son, Michael Terrinoni and his wife, Jennifer Brady; and her daughter, Sarah Terrinoni. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sophia Terrinoni, Fiona Hernandez, and Sarah Brady; and by her sisters, Jane Gracie and Susan Grasso.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Terrinoni; her parents, Leon and Phyllis Fox; and her brother, Richard Fox.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Ann’s life will be held on July 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church located at 20523 Huebner Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258.
